The Showcase brings together researchers, scholars, librarians, and technologists in the humanities from around the region to present current projects and research work, while investigating broader ideas in the digital humanities as a growing field of intellectual inquiry.

The inaugural NJIT Digital Humanities Showcase introduced students and the NJIT community at large to the field of Digital Humanities. Members of the Digital Humanities at NJIT group presented their research in the form of lightning talks under topics such as Archive, Sound, Spatial Analysis, Gamification, and Digital Language. Students learned about the research of individual faculty members and were encouraged to reach out to them if they were interested in participating in their research.
